Our Emotional Regulation Kits

Our Emotional Regulation Kits equip your children with everything they need to begin to understand, communicate and show their emotions. These kits are sold as individual units and can either be one of our standard kits or you can upgrade to our bespoke kits where children can choose how they want to edit their characters, changing anything from the gender, skintone, hairstyle, clothing, or words on any of their cards, creating a completely unique set for that child. This is our recommended option as in practice it has encouraged children to engage with the cards and make them more likely to and even more enthusiastic about using them themselves; it also gives each child ownership and a sense of acceptance and importance from others that really helps them to value their cards and their emotions. The bespoke route involves our artist (enhanced DBS approved) visiting your setting to meet the child, introduce the kit concept to them and get them to redesign the characters to their choosing. Children who have previously been completely closed off to any conversation about emotions or interactions with strangers have seen the kits and have freely chosen to speak to us so it is a great way to start that conversation with them about emotional regulation.
